Emerald Quay berth Holders Association

Emerald Quay is a luxury housing development opened in 1986 by the distinguished yachtsman Chey Blythe. It is located on Shoreham beach sandwiched between Shoreham Beach Marine Reserve and overlooking the river Adur in Shoreham harbour, West Sussex.

Located at the centre of the complex is a small marina with 20 privately owned berths, the current holders of these together form the membership of the Emerald Quay Berth Holders Association.

Access to the marina by boat is tidally limited dependant upon keel depth but the marina basin itself never dries out.

Emerald Quay also has an exclusive leisure facility with a fully equipped gymnasium, a heated Swimming Pool, Sauna, Jacuzzi, Solarium and also a Laundry Room.

For relaxing afterwards the Four Seasons club is located above the leisure centre, this is a private members club frequented by many residents and local people.

The beach is well looked after by the beach wardens and also a local group of volunteers known as "The friends of Shoreham beach" or FOSB. This friendly group of people organise beach clean ups and help with nature and wildlife surveys
